CONUS OPPORTUNITIES

Learning Management System (LMS) administrator

The prospective candidate will coordinate with the 313 Training Squadron (TRS) Advanced Analysis program TM and 313 TRS DCGS program TM on all LMS issues. The TM is the final authority on LMS issues. Each LMS has different requirements and usage specifications, including mechanisms which support courseware delivery.

Duties include:

  • Providing management of LMS & courseware delivery systems for Advanced Analysis courses and DCGS courses.
  • Act as focal point for all student and instructor user accounts and permissions levels within the LMS.
  • Liaise with the appropriate 313 TRS TM to ensure students are tracked and updated with Air Force systems of record, including creating, graduating, and troubleshooting user issues.
  • Ensure advanced analysis instructors and DCGS instructors have adequate training on 313 TRS LMSs.
  • Support changes between LMSs as required by the 313 TRS and 17 TRG.

Scheduling Administrator

Job Description

  • The prospective contractor will coordinate with the 313 TRS Advanced Analysis program TM or the DCGS program TM to ensure class requirements and allocations are filled to capacity, as allowed by the TRQI managers and TLNs. The TM has final authority on all seat allocation decisions.
  • Will design and develop a mechanism with the Software and Programs Designers to track and monitor student progress through the Advanced Analysis Program and DCGS courses.
  • Candidate will assist with all other training administration functions needed by the 313 TRS, including, but not limited to, assisting with instructor schedules, printing course documents for use in the classroom, printing completion certificates for graduating students, etc.

Software and Program Designer

Job Description

Prospective candidate will produce Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) compliant course materials, capable of being integrated with the 17 TRG’s Learning Management System (LMS) and accessible for all applicable training networks. The 313 TRS TDEC and 313 TRS IS for each course will approve all products before implementing in the classroom. It is recommended that one of the designers have skills in graphic design software (such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).

Specific custom software development activities will include:

Requirements Definition and Tracking. Review Course Training Standards (CTSs) which document the cognitive and behavioral requirements associated with the desired training.

System Design and Prototyping:

Perform system design and prototyping activities as required to satisfy training requirements. Understand the training objectives, design course content and develop courseware necessary to achieve training objectives. AGILE development approach to include the customer in the review of system design and prototyping that may include a combination of screen capture walk-throughs, working prototype demonstrations, and courseware design reviews.

Database Design:

Support database design to track training events, throughput, certifications, or other information necessary within the limitations of the staff allocated to this requirement. Will also support database designs which have an impact on the training environment, such as interactive database(s) for exercises

Software Development:

Perform software development activities that may include advanced distributed learning (ADL) and interactive courseware (ICW) and custom software solutions to extend and focus the capabilities of COTS software. Use sound engineering principles to ensure software developed under this task order meets customer expectations for reliability, sustainability, and security.

Testing:

Perform testing of the software developed under this task, following test procedures developed to demonstrate the courseware satisfies the training objective, is reliable, and will sustain the usage anticipated in a training environment.

System Documentation:

Prepare system documentation (installation and maintenance procedures), user manuals and tutorials necessary to guide administrators, maintainers and users in their respective roles. System documentation will undergo periodic updates to ensure the documentation is synchronized with the software/applications/databases/tools of record.

Training:

Conduct training, via train-the-trainers, on- line instructional help files, and/or user manuals as appropriate.

Packaging and Deployment:

Support packaging and deployment of training modules to ensure installation, data administration, and operations and maintenance information is available upon course delivery. Candidate support the installation as required to ensure the courseware is available for 313 TRS usage.

Technical Support:

Provide technical support for current versions of developed training modules. The support will not include support of operating systems or software applications which are commercial products under other maintenance agreements. Candidate will assist the 313 TRS in working with vendors to assist in the resolution of vendor software issues items as necessary. Additionally, will provide real- time technical support in troubleshooting student issues during online course delivery.

Maintain and deploy any required course websites or media on both unclassified (NIPRnet) and classified (SIPRnet and JWICS) networks.

Work with the PM to maintain a tracking mechanism for development efforts in order to sync training requirements and deliver/maintain all updates and new software created.

We are looking for an Advanced Targeting Instructor (preferably a 1N8 or a 14N Targeteer) willing to help us develop an advanced targeting course, with a 6-8 week deployment in Poland to instruct it. The course will include BDA, PPM, and instruction on the PK Look Up Tool (a tool similar to JAWS/JMEM developed specifically for foreign partners). This is a full time position through October 2021, with likely follow-on work.
